Friday night’s opening party is a rare opportunity to visit the Oliver Bronson House, where historical architectural remnants will be juxtaposed with contemporary furniture, art and home decor created by over 15 Hudson businesses.
On Saturday and Sunday, go at your own pace on our self-guided tour of the Bronson House and six other architecturally significant Hudson homes, each with a room that showcases the work of a local designer.
This intimate look inside Hudson’s historic homes will be a unique experience for design enthusiasts and professionals alike. One of Hudson’s many unique traits is the wide variety of design and architecture found throughout the city. Architectural students have visited the city on numerous occasions to study the many styles of the periods since Hudson’s founding.
Historic Hudson: An Architectural Portrait is an excellent book that discusses the history of the city through the lens of the architectural periods, often times highlighting important residents of the time and their impact on Hudson’s future.
