Hudson’s art scene exploded this weekend with the opening of 4 galleries unveiling new shows.  As reported Hudson’s Register Star article entitled “Art lovers crowd Warren Street for gallery openings” the Columbia County Council on the Arts, John Davis Gallery, McDaris Fine Art and Carrie Haddad Gallery all featured new works by various artists.  Hudson’s art scene is ever changing and has long been a major draw for visitors to the area for over 20 years.  One of the most frequently asked questions from people who are just discovering the city is, “What makes Hudson such a popular destination?” and the simple answer is the variety of shops and galleries that line Warren Street and beyond.

Visitors to Hudson are always amazed at the range and scope of the art featured by the gallerists throughout the city.  Each gallery is as unique and original as the art which they feature.  An entire day can be spent wandering up and down Warren Street.  Whether you are an art aficionado or not there is something to see for every taste.

So whether Hudson is one of your favorite places to visit or you’re thinking about making a trip to Hudson for the first time don’t forget to check out Hudson’s art scene.  There’s always something new to see.  Who knows what you’ll find?
