As we enter the second half of February we are seeing a lot of really great

progress and positive forward momentum.  While there are structural issues in the basement, the remaining three floors continue to take shape.  This week has seen the ceilings in the bathrooms lowered to prepare for all of the plumbing work that will follow subsequently.  In addition the electrical plans have been completed and reflected ceiling plans can now be drawn to layout the location of all of the recessed lighting throughout the property.

The carpeting for the guest rooms and hallways has been selected, as well.  The guest rooms will feature a dark tan Berber and the hallways will be carpeted with a deep green textured runner to allow some of the wood flooring to show on either side.  Both carpets will be padded which will ensure both sound insulation and comfort-ability.

Finally deliveries have been arriving in preparation for some of next week’s projects.  The pocket doors for the guest bathrooms will be installed as well as the primary guest room doors.  We are also ready for the second phase of the bathroom fitting out – the wall mounted sinks, spa shower panels and bathtubs are all awaiting installation.

So good news all around!
